Get in Touch

Brown County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm that someone is in custody, verify a release, post bond, release anyone, or pull an official booking record. Contact the responsible public office directly for those services.

Official Brown County Contacts

Use the office that holds the particular information you need. The Sheriff’s Office handles records routing, while the Jail Division is the appropriate starting point for general county-jail custody direction.

For a booking record or photograph, start with Brown County Records Requests or the Sheriff’s JustFOIA public portal. Requests are processed in the order received, may take up to ten business days, and can carry fees. Avoid duplicates and confirm any current fee with the custodian.

Choose the Right Records Route

  • For current or former Brown County Jail custody, begin with the official inmate lookup instructions. The released-inmate option matters when a person has left jail custody.
  • For a booking record or a photograph not visible in the portal, use the home guide and the official JustFOIA or records-request route.
  • For a case outcome, copy, or court disposition after a booking, use WCCA or contact the Brown County Clerk of Circuit Court, 100 S Jefferson St, Green Bay, WI 54301, 920-448-4155, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • For a warrant question, read the Sheriff's Most Wanted guide and confirm status with the relevant court or law-enforcement agency. Do not rely on an old third-party listing.
  • For a person sentenced to Wisconsin state prison, use the WI DOC offender locator. It does not replace a county booking record.
  • For federal sentenced custody, use the BOP inmate locator. For current immigration detention, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. These systems cover different custodial settings.
  • For immediate danger, call 911. The Sheriff’s non-emergency line is appropriate for non-emergency agency contact, not a substitute for an emergency response.
